Hilton Austin held a celebration event on April 5 that welcomed more than 300 guests, Austin city officials, VIPs and community partners as the hotel received the 2017 Connie Award, a Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand award with the highest honor. As the recipient of this award, Hilton Austin demonstrated the greatest level of quality and service out of 150 Hilton-branded hotels that have over 500 rooms, and ranks as a leading Hilton hotel in the Americas. In addition to the 2017 Connie Award, Hilton Austin’s General Manager Robert Watson was named “Leader of the Year” by Hilton. Out of 287 Hilton general managers in the Americas, this award is presented to the general manager who best represents hospitality by living Hilton values and bringing culture and purpose to life in their hotel.
